Rental Cars: It is somewhat difficult to rent a car in Boquete UNLESS you speak Spanish. All contracts are in Spanish.

In downtown Boquete there are several rent a car agencies including Thrifty, HOWEVER, the rules are different

than in the US. Understand carefully what you are getting into before you sign. If you use your "Visa" card, it WILL NOT

cover collision damage should you have an accident. The rental rates are not to bad but to get a decent car, expect to shell

out about $50 or more per day! The best place we found was in Alto Boquete at Value Motors, all their rental
